Worcester- Edwin Allen Boyd, 64, passed away peacefully at Old Orchard Beach while vacationing with his family whom he loved so much.
He was born in Landsdale, Pennsylvania on October 12, 1954 a son of the late Minton Darrington Boyd and Nancy Lou (Sell) Boyd. Following his schooling, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam Era.
For many years, Ed was employed at GF Wright Steel & Wire Company where he worked as a steel worker and later at Curtis Plow Company in shipping and receiving.
He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Lynda L. (Chaput) Boyd; his daughter, Angela Rosado and her husband, Carlos; his son, David Boyd; his grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Carlos, Xavier, Kristian, Camryn and Eli; his siblings, Debra Larson and her husband, Ken, Minton Boyd and his wife, Mary, John Boyd and his wife, Kerrie, Jeffrey Boyd and Jamie-Lyn Katinas and her husband, Stephen; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and his close group of friends who became family throughout the years.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Ed's life on Friday, July 26th from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
