Eleanor E. "Ellie" (Savage) St. Cyr Mattson, 86, of 19 Dryden St. died Wednesday, June 1, in the Odd Fellows Home.
Her first husband, Joseph L. F. St. Cyr died in 1950. Her second husband, Isaac W. Mattson died in 1973. She leaves two sons, Peter A. and his wife, Iaina "Jane" St. Cyr of West Boylston and William J. and his wife, Mary Frances St. Cyr of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; six grandchildren, Dr. Nicole St. Cyr of Seymour, CT, Gabrielle St. Cyr of Milford, CT, Amanda White of Waltham, Katie White of Cleveland, OH, Robert and his wife, Gail St. Cyr of Worcester and Michele and her husband Joseph Ingersoll of Philadelphia, PA; a great-grandchild, Madison Mary Ingersoll of Philadelphia, PA; a sister, Leah Bonnett of Coral Gables, FL and nieces and nephews. A brother Armand Savage and a sister, Dorothy St. Cyr, predeceased her. She was born in Nashua, NH
Ellie worked for the Odd Fellows Home for 15 years, before retiring. In her retirement she spent time volunteering at the Odd Fellows Home. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
The funeral will be held Monday, June 6, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery. Calling Hours are Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
