Eleanor M. Parker

WORCESTER-Eleanor M. (Leahy) Parker, 81, formerly of Northborough, died Tuesday, March 11 in University Commons. Her husband Thomas Edward Parker predeceased her in 1992. She leaves a son, Brian Parker of Worcester; a sister, Joan Maneely of So. Yarmouth; six grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a daughter, Ann Marie Andrews in 1999 and a son Edward M. Parker in 2001.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Michael and Gertrude (Collins) Leahy, graduated from Commerce High School and Salter Secretarial School. Mrs. Parker worked at Hanover Insurance Company for 21 years, retiring in 1993. She was a longtime former member of St. Rose of Lima Church and was an avid reader.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th at 12:00 PM in Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
