AUBURN-Elizabeth "Betty" C (Pike) Brien, 77, of Auburn, formerly of Manchester, NH passed away Tuesday, April 8 at St. Vincent Hospital after a long term illness.
Her husband of 40 years, Ovila "Babe" Brien and beloved daughter, Paula O'Connor, predeceased her. Betty is survived by her daughters, Patricia Dippi of Oklahoma City, OK, Sandra Bernard of Manchester, NH, Jill Dubey of Berlin, NH, Tina Matthews of Auburn, Donna Brien of Manchester, NH, Linda Goonan of Hooksett, NH; many grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was born in Groveton, NH the daughter of Elmer and Eva (Gagner) Pike. She was employed with Summit Packing of Manchester, NH for 25 years before retiring. In her youth she enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and playing cards at the club with her husband. Betty was an avid collector of clowns. In retirement, Betty enjoyed numerous trips to Foxwoods Casino with her daughters and Seven Hills Bingo. Betty will be missed by all that knew her especially her cat, Kiki.
Betty's Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 12 at Noontime at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A visiting hour will be held from 11:00 to Noon before the service.
