Elizabeth A. Grady

WORCESTER-Elizabeth A. (Roach) Grady, 78, of Worcester passed away Thursday, September 10 in the Golden Living Center.

She leaves her three children, Robert E. Grady, James M. Grady and Diane M. Gardner all of Worcester; two grandchildren, Katharine Gardner of Galway, Ireland and Kevin Gardner of Charlton; a brother, Robert Nugent of Worcester; four sisters, her twin, Peggy Army of Grafton, Mary Bjorndal of Grafton, Janice Carabba of North Easton and Alice Brown of Marlborough and nieces and nephews. Seven siblings, Jackie, Joey, David, Tommy, Joan, Judy and Carol predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Vincent Roach and Margaret (Nugent) O'Gorman.

Elizabeth worked at Saint Vincent Hospital for 20 years, before retiring. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and spending time with her family.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 16 at 10am in Saint John's Church, 44 Temple Street. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements are in the care of CALLAHAN FAY CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street,
