WORCESTER-Elizabeth Alice Pitula, 55, died Monday, September 27, 2021.
She was born in Worcester, graduated from Doherty Memorial High School and Worcester State University. Elizabeth proudly served in the US Air Force from 1993 until 1997. She worked for Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston for several years, and most recently IRS/Office of Chief Counsel.
Elizabeth enjoyed exercising and running. She was very passionate about politics on all levels, city, state and national.
She was predeceased by her father, Ronald Pitula, U.S. Marine Corp, PFC in 1996.
Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Alyce H. Murphy of Worcester, her sister, Christine Pitula of Worcester, and brother, Scott Baker of Connecticut. She also leaves two nieces, Alyssa and Stacey and her "dog nephew", Thomas.
All are welcome to attend Elizabeth's Funeral Service and Burial with Military Funeral Honors which will be held at 1:00pm Monday, October 4th at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA.
