Elizabeth M. Winski, 62, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on November 18, 1963, in Worcester, Elizabeth was the beloved daughter of Dora A. (Grenier) Henry and the late Francis P. “Whitey” Henry. A lifelong Worcester resident, she took great pride in her roots and her community.

“Beth” was a graduate of David Hill Fanning Trade School. She devoted over 20 years of her career to the Medical Billing Department at UMass, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Most recently, she worked at O’Reilly Auto Parts, continuing to serve others with the same determination and reliability that defined her life.

She was especially proud to be a seamstress—a true passion that brought her joy and purpose. She lovingly made Halloween costumes for her son, Jake, crafted curtains, repaired clothing, and hemmed garments for countless family and friends. Her talent, patience, and attention to detail were gifts she generously shared, and her work was a lasting expression of her care for others. She also loved crafting and found peace and happiness by the ocean, especially in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, a place she held close to her heart.  Beth was a loving and caring person with a fiery sense of humor.

Above all else, she cherished being a mother. Being “Mom” to her son, Jake, was the greatest joy and proudest role of her life.

She leaves many behind that will miss her dearly including her beloved son, Jake Army of Worcester, her mother Dora A. (Grenier) Henry of Worcester, her 2 sisters Christine (Henry) Green, and Angela (Henry) Feranzoviz, her 3 brothers Mark Henry, Martin Henry, and Francis Henry, also many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father and her Aunt Maureen. 

Family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of Beth’s life with calling hours on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. A funeral service will begin at 7:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private for the family at a later date.
