Ellen M. Chase 58, of 27 Mt. Vernon St. died Sunday (June16) at UMASS Memorial Medical Center-Lake Ave. Campus after an illness.

She leaves her mother Shirley M. McIntyre of North Brookfield, four brothers, John E. McIntyre III of Millbury, Patrick K. McIntyre North Brookfield, Kevin P. McIntyre of Spencer, and Michael B. McIntyre of Sutton, a half-sister Barbara DiPasquale of Marlboro, several nephews and nieces. A brother William H. McIntyre of No. Brookfield pre-deceased her. She was born in Marlboro.

She graduated from the Fanning Trade School.

She was a Nurse's Aide at several area Nursing Homes and a Volunteer at UMASS Hospital for last 15 years.

A Graveside Service will be held at the family's convenience in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no Calling Hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Cathedral 15 Chatham St. Worcester 01609. Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 9 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
