AUBURN-Elna E. (Nordstrom) Anderson of 733 Oxford St. S. passed away peacefully Sat. Nov. 5th at Radius Healthcare Millbury surrounded by her family. Her husband of 65 years, Edwin E. Anderson died in 2001. She leaves three daughters, Sandra L. wife of Joseph Jablonski of Millbury, Sally E. Westermark of Auburn and Carolyn E., wife of Calvert Eck of Barnstable, eight grandchildren, Joseph, Sally and Paul Jablonski, Alyssa W. Riedl, John Westermark and Scott, Lauren and Joshua Eck, nine great grandchildren, Ashley, Anna, Eric, Luke, Greer, Gabriel, Finn, Jack, Jonah and three nieces. She also leaves two devoted caregivers, Sharon Harris of Shrewsbury and Mary O'Rourke of Worcester. A brother, John Nordstrom, and a sister, Ellen Lundstrom predeceased her.

Elna was born in Auburn Dec. 5, 1913 daughter of John and Gerda (Eliasson) Nordstrom, charter members of Bethel Lutheran Church. She lived in Chicago, Ill from 1930 until 1948 when she returned to Auburn.

She was a homemaker and worked with her granddaughter, Sally, owner of Herbert E. Berg Florist, retiring in 1993. She was a wonderful pastry cook and avid Red Sox fan. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and the former Naomi Women's' Group.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, 90 Bryn Mawr Ave. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Hillside Cemetery. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions to Bethel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 90 Bryn Mawr Ave., Auburn, MA 01501. LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St., Worcester is directing arrangements.
