Elsie A. Appleby

WORCESTER
Elsie A. (Troy) Appleby, 59, of Pilgrim Ave. died Friday, May 12. Her husband of 15 years, Daniel P. Appleby died in 1998. She leaves a son, David J. Appleby of Worcester; her mother, Ada M. (LaPointe) Troy of Auburn and a brother, William J. Troy of Worcester. A step-son, Gerard P. Appleby, a brother, William A. Troy; two sisters, Donna Troy and Katherine Parker, all predeceased her. She was born in Burlington, VT daughter of Ernest A. Troy and graduated Worcester Girls Trade School.
She was a member of the National Federation of the Blind and the Massachusetts Assoc. for the Blind.

The funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 20 at 12:30 PM in St. Joseph's Church 189 Oxford St., Auburn. CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. is directing arrangements.
