Emil Nemec

WORCESTER-Emil Nemec, 95, passed away Monday, June 16 at University Commons.

His wife of 58 years, Mary M. (Nasipak) Nemec passed away in 1999. He leaves his son, William E. Nemec of Ohio, his daughter, Nancy A. DiCicco of Worcester, his sister, Katherine Fulton of St. Cloud, FL; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was born in Yugoslavia the son of John and Anna (Vavrik) Nemec. He lived in Ohio for many years before moving to Worcester in 1993. Mr. Nemec was a WW II Navy Veteran. He worked as a machinist at Bendix-Westinghouse retiring in 1972. He was a former member of the Eagles in Ohio.

Mr. Nemec's funeral will be Friday, June 20 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., West Boylston. Burial will be in High Plains Cemetery, West Boylston. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements are under the care of FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, W. Boylston.
