Emma C. Lundquist 97, formerly of Carlstad St. died Friday, May 7, Millbury Healthcare Center.

She leaves two nephews, George Gamble and his companion Jackie Nichols of Dudley and William Lundquist of Hopeville, VA and several great-nieces and great-nephews.Four brothers, Francis Lundquist, Harry Lundquist, Russell Lundquist and Clarence Lundquist and a sister, Sigrid Gamble, predeceased her. She was a beloved family member of Sigrid's Children and Grandchildren, who included Timothy O'Brien and his wife Susan of Worcester and Robert O'Brien and his wife Jody of Charlton.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Victor and Amanda (Wilson) Lundquist.Emma was a inspector for American Optical in Southbridge for 45 years, retiring in 1969.She was a member of Quinsigamond United Methodist Church and the Vasa Order of America, Nordic Lodge %23611.

The Funeral will be Monday, May 10, at 11 a.m. in LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. Burial will be in Old Swedish Cemetery. A Calling Hour will be Monday, May 10, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Quinsigamond United Methodist Church, 9 Stebbins St. Worcester 01607.
