WORCESTER-Ernest Jantuah, 69, died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Saint Vincent Hospital.
Mr. Jantuah was born in Kumasi, Ghana, son of the late Kwabena Agyeman and Akua Attaah and moved to the United States in 1974. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 22 years, Deborah (Jones) Jantuah in 1997.
He is survived by four children, Tristan Jantuah and Anitra Jantuah, both of Fitchburg, Kendrah Jantuah of Indianapolis and Jessica Jantuah of Worcester, eight grandsons, and three granddaughters. He is also survived by eight brothers, Frank Osei of Worcester, Steve Osei of Worcester, Kwabena Agyeman, Kwasi Peprah, Eric Kofi Asare, Nana Boadi, Richard Osei and Frank Osei, all of Ghana, and many nephews and nieces.
Ernest worked at Astro Wire and Cable for many years, and most recently he worked at Injection Molding. He enjoyed playing soccer and could always be found at Elm Park on Sunday mornings playing pick-up games with his friends. He loved to travel and he and Deborah took many wonderful trips prior to her passing. Ernest was an avid NE Patriots fan.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, December 7th from 6-9 pm at Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Funeral Services are Saturday, December 8th from 8:00 until 10:30 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Ghana.
