Ernestine Steele

WORCESTER-Ernestine (Sundstrom) Steele, 87, formerly of Perry Ave. passed away Wed., May 23 at Radius Healthcare at Millbury. Her husband of 50 years, John Steele passed away in 2000. She leaves her daughter, Kathleen and her husband Francis M. Zicuis of Worcester; her sister, Dorothy Johnson of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Paula Fournier, Barbara Squires, Kimberly Greene, Colleen Amyot, Melissa Zicuis, Christopher Zicuis and Robin Zicuis; 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Three sisters and one brother predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Ernest R. and Alice T. (Henry) Sundstrom and attended Girls Trade School. She worked as an assembler at Culver & Sterns for 32 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Ernestine's funeral will be Saturday, May 26 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:30 at St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
