Esternol Prieto

WORCESTER- Esternol Prieto, 90, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2023, at St. Mary’s Healthcare Center.

He was born in Manati, Puerto Rico on May 15, 1933 a son of the late Francisco Prieto and Angela Perez. After leaving Puerto Rico he moved to Chicago where he lived for many years before relocating to Worcester. He was employed as a silk print operator for many years before retirement.

He leaves behind his four children, daughter, Angela “Angie” Grant Prieto, son, Esternoris, son, Manuel and daughter, Maria Nereida; fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Felicia Perez, and Rafael Medina.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Thursday, July 27^th with a visiting hour from 4:00pm until 5:00pm and a service to conclude at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
