Eugene A. Ritchotte Jr., 65, of Ft. Myers, formerly of Worcester, died Tuesday, March 26, in his home after an illness.
His wife Therese C. (Rabidou) Ritchotte died in 1991. He leaves three sons; Gary E. Ritchotte of Ft. Myers; John E. Ritchotte and James M. Richotte both of Worcester; two daughters Susan M. Howard and Gail M. Seeley both of Worcester, a step daughter Gina M. Ferrante of Worcester, a brother, Paul Ritchotte of Worcester ; nine grand children; and a great grand daughter, several nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Eugene A. Ritchotte Sr. and Blanche (Laverty) Ritchotte.
He worked at Commonwealth Gas for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member and past commander of the Main South American Legion Post # 341 and a member of the Estero, Fl. American Legion Post. He was a avid camper.
He graduated from South High School.
He was a Navy Veteran.
A Funeral will be held Saturday, March 30, from Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 9 Hammond St. with a Liturgy of the Word at 9:45 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, March 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the VNA 120 Thomas St. 01608.
