Eunice (Livingston) Koleshis

WORCESTER- Eunice I. (Livingston) Koleshis, 94, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2021 at St. Mary's Healthcare.

She was born and raised in Worcester on September 25, 1926 a daughter of John and Catherine (Robertson) Livingston. She married Anthony Koleshis on August 17, 1948 at Lake View Congregational Church, and the two began raising a family. They enjoyed many wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 1982. Eunice enjoyed spending time with family and traveling, especially the day trips to the casino with her daughters where she could try her luck. She was a lover of animals especially cats and dogs and she was very close to her favorite cat Peanut.

She leaves behind her three children, Joseph Livingston, Diane M. Koleshis, both of Worcester and Joann (Koleshis) Gingras of Westborough; two grandchildren, Jim and Jennifer Gingras both of Westborough; her great grandchildren, Lily Geoffrey, Aiden Gingras and Avery Andrews, all of Westborough; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Koleshis was predeceased by a son, Anthony Koleshis; four siblings, Raymond Livingston, Joseph Livingston, Jessie (Livingston) Snair and Catherine (Livingston) Koleshis.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 28th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 29th at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
