LEICESTER- Eva H. (Gleick) Brennan, 75, of Leicester, died Sunday, May 11 peacefully at home. Her husband William P. Brennan, Sr. died in 2002. She leaves three sons, John Harty, Jr, and his wife Bernice of Otter River, MA, William P. Brennan, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Leicester, T.J. Brennan and his wife Melanye of Sturbridge; three daughters, Noreen L. Mascroft and Janice E. Jurkenas, both of Barre, Gail M. Wolf of Sutton; a sister, Juanita Gould of Auburn; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother Joseph Gleick and five sisters, Agnes Fitts, Josephine Barrows, Lorraine Nordgren, Christine Trudell and Beverly Johnson.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph and Irene M. (Lefebvre) Gleick and lived her life as a devout Christian. Eva was a longtime volunteer at the Leicester Senior Center, a member of the Red Hat Society. She was an animal lover and also enjoyed baking for her family and friends.
After cremation, a private committal of ashes will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Auburn. There are no calling hours.
