Eva B. (Bartlett) Wahlstrom, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, at St. Francis Home, just one day shy of her 96th birthday.

Born in Worcester on March 18, 1930, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ida D. (Brodeur) and Victor Bartlett. Eva spent many years working as a dedicated medical receptionist, where she was known for her kindness, warmth, and professionalism.

Eva shared a loving marriage with her husband, William B. Wahlstrom, who predeceased her in 2012. Together, they enjoyed a life filled with travel and companionship.

Over the years, Eva made her home in several places she cherished. She lived in Yarmouth for 15 years, then in Ocala, Florida for 10 years, before returning to Massachusetts and settling in her hometown of Auburn. There, she became an active member of the Auburn Senior Center, where she especially enjoyed participating in Meals on Wheels and various crafts.

In her younger years, Eva was an accomplished basket weaver, earning several blue ribbons for her work. She also had a lifelong passion for needlework For many years she, along with her sister and a few friends, made countless items and donated them to senior centers throughout Worcester County.

Eva leaves behind her loving sons, Donald C. Wolfe, Jr. of Boulder, Colorado, Richard W. Wolfe of Marcus, Washington, and Gerald L. Wolfe of Charlton; as well as many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Rose Burton of Auburn, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, William Bartlett and Victor Bartlett.

Eva will be laid to rest along with her beloved husband in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton at a later date.
