Evelyn O. Grahn

WORCESTER-Evelyn O. (Sahlberg) Grahn, 91, died Sat., Nov. 7.

Her husband, Bertil F. Grahn died in 1991. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Beverly M. and her son in law John Bent of Pittsford, NY, several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Anton C. and Augusta C. (Brostrom) Sahlberg and graduated from Commerce High School in 1936. She was employed at the Worcester Club for 20 years, was later an assistant to the curator at Worcester Art Museum for 14 years and also volunteered at the Lutheran Home for many years. Her artistic talent was evident in everything she did. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Dorcas, Chancel Guild and did the memorial recordkeeping.

The funeral will be Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 11:00 AM at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 200 Greenwood St. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 4:00 to 6:30 PM at LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
