WEST BOYLSTON-Evelyn (Marsh) Henault, 90, passed away Tuesday, November 7 at home surrounded by her family.

Her husband of 61 years, Paul R. Henault died in 2016 She leaves  six children, Paul W. Henault and his wife, Kate of Southbridge, Lorraine M. Harrington and her husband, Robert of Douglas, George A. Henault and his wife, Nancy of Auburn, Joanne M. Olson and her husband, Charles Washburn of West Boylston, Francine M. Buck and her husband, Brian of Sterling and Jean M. Kennamer and her husband, David of Salem, NH; seven grandchildren, Michael Henault and his wife, Jennifer, Michelle Henault and her partner, Evan Howland, Kaitlyn Harrington and her husband, Brett Richard, Christopher Henault and his wife Emily, Asa Buck and his wife Allison, Christina Kennamer and  Ian Washburn; three great-grandchildren, Cayden Harrington; Sophia and Aubrey Buck and nieces and nephews.  Four siblings, Robert Marsh, George Marsh, Francis Marsh and Bernice O’Neil predeceased her. She was born in Monson, daughter of George and Katherine (O’Brien) Marsh and graduated from Holy Rosary High School and Hahnemann School of Nursing.

Evelyn lived a life of caring for others, this made her happiest. She did this as a mother and grandmother, but also was a licensed practical nurse working in the Holden District Hospital for many years as well as several local extended care facilities. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, where she was a eucharistic minister to the parish as well as a parish visitor to the sick and elderly. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 12 from 2:00 until 5:00 pm at Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 13 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, West Boylston Ecumenical Food Pantry at https://www.fccwb.org/serve.
