Evelyn Hulda (Anderson) Johnson, 93, formerly of Holden died Wed., March 12, in the Seacoast Nursing Center, Gloucester.
Her husband Erling T. Johnson died in 1992. She leaves a daughter, Nancy E. and her husband Jordan Cohen of Half Moon Bay, CA; two grandchildren, Heather J. and her husband Timothy Fleming of Edgewood, NM and Todd B. Cohen of Madison, NC; two great-grandchildren, Mina Fleming and Kyra Fleming and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Ada C. Reopel and Mildred E. Englund predeceased her. She was born in Auburn, daughter of John S. and Hulda (Grahn) Anderson and lived 47 years in Holden before moving to Gloucester.
Evelyn was the head switchboard operator at Phalo Corporation for many years. She was a longtime member of Quinsigamond United Methodist Church in Worcester.
The Funeral Service is private. Burial will be in Old Swedish Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of Seacost, 292 Washington St., Gloucester, 01930.
