Flor De Maria Arango Tapias

Flor De Maria Arango Tapias, 68, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at UMASS Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Heliconia, Antioquia, Colombia on April 8, 1952, daughter to Joaquin Emilio Arango Espinosa and Maria Eva Tapias. She worked for many years at Angelica Textiles. Once Flor retired, she could be found reading, listening to music, sewing, watching tv and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by many including her son, Gabriel Alvarez and his wife Paola, a grandson, Samuel Alvarez, her twin sister, Margarita, and siblings Roberto, Elena and Diego.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Flor's life on Friday, March 5, 2021 with visiting hours from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Callahan, Fay and Caswell Life Celebration Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. A funeral mass will follow at 1:30pm at the Cathedral Church of Saint Paul, 38 High Street, Worcester. Burial will take place at a later date and will be private.
