Florence L. Callahan

WORCESTER-Florence L. (Naumiec) Callahan, 77, of Worcester died Thursday, October 28 in UMASS Medical Center.
Her husband of 53 years, Francis P. Callahan died in 2005. She leaves three sons, Michael J., Daniel S. and James E Callahan all of Worcester; three daughters, Deborah Callahan Holmquist, Paula F. Callahan and Lynn M. O'Connor all of Worcester; a sister Theresa Courtney of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Erin L. Callahan, Lisa A. Melkonian, Katelyn A. Russell, Shauna A. Callahan, Michael P. Callahan, Ryan F. O'Connor and Seamus M. O'Connor; three great grandchildren, Kayleigh A. Russell, Ellery J. Russell, and Keegan F. Rowland and nieces and nephews. Four sisters, Wanda Koskie, Elizabeth Sutton, Stacia Bogigian, Jane Legere Skog and four brothers, Francis, Edward, Adolph and John Naumiec predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, son of Joseph J. and Petronella (Chomicz) Naumiec and graduated from St. Mary's High School.
Flo was a teacher's aide for the City of Worcester School Department.

The funeral will be Tuesday, November 2 from the CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St.. Burial will be private in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, November 1 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
