WORCESTER-Florence E. "Flossie" Forgette, 89, of Worcester, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Jewish Healthcare Center.
She leaves her husband of 68 years, Roland W. Forgette, two daughters; Susan L. Forgette of North Brookfield and Sandra M. Brunelle and her husband David of Sebastian, FL; two sisters, Mary Lou Ostromecky and her husband John of Topsham, ME and Blanche Provost of Shrewsbury; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Samuel Cameron and two sisters, Marguerite LaPrade and Patricia Letendre.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Samuel and Florence (Wells) Cameron and graduated from St. Peter's High School and Worcester School of Accounting. Flossie worked for 40 years at Lundquist Tool and Manufacturing and Lutco Bearings Inc. as Bookkeeper and Assistant Treasurer. She was an accomplished counted cross stitcher and has left many framed pieces for her family to cherish. Flossie was also a wonderful cook and baker. She was well known with her family and friends for her delicious cakes, pies and desserts.
Flossie's family would like to thank the wonderful staff and hospice team at Jewish Healthcare Center for the wonderful care they provided to their mother.
There are no funeral services as it was Flossie's wish to donate her body to the Anatomical Gift Program at Harvard Medical School. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
