Francisca Lopez, 83, of Worcester died Fri. Aug 17.
She leaves her husband Pedro Rodriguez of Puerto Rico; five children, Jose L. Torres, Iris Torres, Maria Aponte and Yolanda Rivera all of Worcester and Rosario Pedraza of NYC; two grandchildren that she raised, Maria Brooks and Abel Pedraza both of Worcester; 2 sisters, Margot Carrero of Puerto Rico and Carmen Marrero of California; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A son, Francisco Torres, a brother, Jose L. Lopez and two sisters, Anastacia "Chula" Lopez and Santa Colon predeceased her. She was born in Puerto Rico, daughter of Genaro Lopez and Manuela Alonzo.
Family and friends will gather at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 11:00 AM with a graveside service to follow in Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Aug. 20 from 5 - 8 PM in the funeral home.
