Francis P. "Mickey" Desy, 75, of 51 Upland Gardens Dr. died Tuesday, Jan. 3 in Saint Vincent Hospital with his loving family by his side.

He leaves his companion and caretaker of 30 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Simoneau of Millbury and Worcester; three children, Andrew K. and his wife Karen E. Desy of Worcester, Laura C. Desy and her husband, Van Coggins of Houston, TX and Kevin E. Desy of Worcester; two brothers, Owen Desy of Worcester and Raymond Desy of Oxford; four grandchildren, Sabrina , Rowdy, Aidan and Stormy; and many nieces and nephews. Four siblings, Raoul Desy, Rita Marcotte, Arlene LaTour and Doris Nankervis predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Louis J. and Bertha M. (Gervais) Desy.

Mickey owned and operated AKL Distributors for several years, retiring due to illness. He was an avid country music fan.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Jan. 7, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
