Francis "Frank" Piechowiak, 77, departed to be with the Lord on July 3, 2026, at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy L. (Tupper) Piechowiak, in 2016.

Born on January 27, 1949, in Webster, Massachusetts, Frank was the son of the late Francis J. Piechowiak and Elizabeth G. (Reich) Piechowiak. He graduated from St. Louis High School in Webster before proudly serving his country in the United States Navy.

After his military service, Frank continued his education at Quinsigamond Community College, where he earned an associate degree in electronic technology. He built a successful career in the technology field, working for more than 24 years as a Technical Engineer at Data General before continuing his career with Hewlett-Packard.

Frank was a devoted member of the Sturbridge Worship Center where he worshipped. Frank had a lifelong passion for computers. What began as a career also remained one of his favorite hobbies. He was exceptionally knowledgeable with technology and was always eager to learn, troubleshoot, and help others with computer-related problems.

A devoted New England sports fan, Frank faithfully followed the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and Notre Dame football. He especially enjoyed talking sports with family and friends, sharing opinions, celebrating victories, and debating the latest games.

Joyce, Danny and Matthew Adams have many happy memories of vacations spent with Frank and Nancy including, York Beach, Maine, the White Mountains, NH, many trips to Sebring, FL, and two wonderful trips to San Diago, CA where he shared all about his time in the Navy.

Frank will be remembered for his intelligence, technical expertise, love of sports, and the conversations he shared with those who knew him. His family and friends will miss his presence, his knowledge, and the many memories they created together.

He leaves many behind that will miss him dearly, including his sister, Ann Piechowiak and her long-time companion James Brinson of Worcester; his uncle, John Reich and wife, Carol, of Webster; many cousins; his sister-in-law, Joyce (Tupper) Adams and her husband, Danny, of West Boylston; a brother-in-law, Barry Tupper of Sebring, FL; his nephews, BJ and Matthew; his niece, Chrissy; and his great nieces and great nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife; his sister, Mary (Piechowiak) Mozdzierz; his nephew, Edward Mozdzierz and sister-in-law, Linda Tupper.
