Francis W. Hall, 92 of 60 Everett Gaylord Blvd. died Sunday (Aug25) at Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after a fall at his home.
He leaves a brother, William E. Hall of Worcester and a sister Mabel V. Picard of Holden, several nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces. A brother Raymond Hall and a sister Marion Gallagher predeceased him. He was born in Worcester son of Frank E. and Emma T. (Buck) Hall. He graduated from Commerce High School and attended Columbia University, Assumption College and The Worcester Art Museum School of Art.
He a Registra for the Worcester Art Museum School of Arts for 40 years retiring several years ago.
He was a member of the Worcester Art Museum, Worcester Historical Society, Massachusetts Genealogy Society and the Thornton W. Burgress Society.
The Funeral will be held Thursday (Aug.29) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 9 Hammond St. (www.faybrothers.com) with a Mass at 10 a.m. at Saint Peter’s Church 931 Main St. Burial will be in Saint John’s Cemetery.Calling Hours are Wednesday (Aug28) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
