Francisco Torres

WORCESTER-Francisco Torres, 60, of 44 Wellington St., died Wednesday, July 12, at Christopher House after a struggle with cancer. He leaves his mother Francisca Lopez of Worcester; step-father, Pedro Rodriguez in Puerto Rico; longtime companion, Hilda Diaz; three sons, Francisco Torres, Jr. and Alexander Torres, both of Worcester and Michael and his wife Barbara Torres of Fitchburg; two daughters, June I. Torres and Chaveli Torres of Worcester; a brother, Jose L. Torres of Worcester; four sisters, Iris Torres, Maria Aponte and Yolanda Rivera all of Worcester and Rosario Pedraza of NYC; eleven grandchildren and a great grandson, nieces and nephews. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico lived in New York City for several years, where he was a jeweler and has lived in Worcester for 17 years.

Family and friends will gather at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street on Monday, July 17 at 11:00 AM with a graveside service to follow in Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 16 from 5 - 8 PM in the funeral home.
