Our dad, Frank Catalfano (no middle name) of Worcester, Massachusetts, left this life Wednesday December 18th, 2019.
He was taking mom, Elaine, his loving wife of 44 years, to Walgreens when suddenly while driving he passed away. Mom is recovering from the accident at home and is doing well thanks to the love of family and friends. She is an amazing woman and a sweetheart. Frank was born September 8th, 1936; he had just celebrated his 83rd birthday. As a former Marine he trained to be an excellent carpenter and passed an incredible work ethic to his kids and the many who learned through him. Frank was "a man's man," and it was often said, "I never met anyone who didn't like him." Our dad was a loving great-grand and grandfather of many, father of seven, a decent man, and a friend to all. Of his four sibs Tony, the eldest, remains. By age his kids are: Frank Jr. (Kathy), Marie (Randy), David (Natalie), Corrine (Ray), Cindy (Ed) and Tiffany Miki'ala (Jonathan); Debbie, his first, went to be with God years ago. The old adage, "No parent should have to outlive their children" is so true, and it's nice to know Dad and Deb are together again in heaven.
Frank's memorial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM January 27th at Mass Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475. Join us as we tell his story because this obit was never intended to do that. Love ya dad.
Please help mom to cover expenses by mailing what you can directly to her at: "FOR FRANK & ELAINE CATALFANO" 39 FIRST ST. APARTMENT B-403, WORCESTER, MA 01602. Thank you.
