G. Leo "Lee" Randall

February 12, 1919 — January 22, 2019

Worcester- George Leo "Lee" Randall, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2019 just three weeks shy of his 100th birthday.

He was the husband of the late Astrid V. (Carlson) Randall who passed away in 2009.

He was born in Holbrook, Massachusetts on February 12, 1919 a son of the late George P. and Grace (Merrill) Randall. He attended local schools and graduated from Holbrook High School before attending both Burdett College and WPI where he took management courses.

Lee began his career in the mail room at the former Norton Company and rose through the ranks ultimately becoming a location manager for the company. During his time at Norton Company he was positioned in Philadelphia for a number of years and later in Detroit before ultimately being sent to Seattle where he facilitated the plants closing.

During his younger years, Lee enjoyed ice fishing, hunting and traveling. Many memories were made over the years at their summer home in Dennis near Corporation Beach. Mr. Randall was a past president of the Norton Alumni Club and was a member of the Bethlehem Covenant Church where he enjoyed directing the parishioners in song.

He is survived by his children Paul M. Randall of Webster and Craig L. Randall and his wife, Jayne of West Granville; grandchildren, Kyle and Lydia Randall; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Besides his parents and his wife, Lee was predeceased by his siblings, E. Merrill Randall and Ora Osgood.

In accordance with his wishes there are no visiting hours. A private service to honor his life will be held at the convenience of the family and he will be laid to rest with his wife at All Faith's Cemetery.
