Gail R. (Steinert) Malhoit

June 27, 1946 — May 25, 2019

CLINTON Gail R. (Steinert) Malhoit, 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Clinton Hospital, with her family by her bedside.
Gail was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of the late Rae and Edith Steinert. Prior to her retirement, Gail worked for the PreMet Corporation and later for the UMass Memorial Healthcare system at the Lake Avenue Campus. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of West Boylston.
For Gail, family was everything. She loved being a mom and adored her grandchildren, as well as being able to gather with family and friends at home. Whether having family over for a Thanksgiving meal or a summer pool party, Gail always made sure everyone was happy and taken care of. Her quick wit was ever present in the conversations she had, even when discussing something serious. Gail also was a loyal friend to many. Gail loved visiting antique stores as well as any yard sale she would drive by. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
She leaves her two children, Derrick Camelo and his fiancée, Nichole Proctor of Lunenburg and Richard and Sherry Giannetta of Charlton; her beloved grandchildren, Connor and Tyler Camelo, Jacob Giannetta, Kayla Durkin and Noah Thompson; her sister, Beverly Chauncey of Worcester; and her many friends and family. Gail was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Howe.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate Gail's life on Thursday, May 30th from 4-7 p.m. at the Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston.
