Garrett R. Happy, 36, of Sebastian, FL passed away on December 8th, 2022.
Garrett was born in Worcester, and was a longtime resident of West Boylston & Sterling and also a frequent visitor of Wellfleet. Garrett attended West Boylston Elementary, graduated from Saint Peter Marian Central Catholic Middle/High School, and studied at Worcester State University for a period of time. Garrett worked many years at S&S Farms and Deli where he was loved by all his customers and co-workers. Most recently, he channeled his love for working with his hands and tools, and became a member of the Carpenters Union.
He was an avid hockey player for many years playing for the Crusaders into high school for The Guardians, and even continued his love for the game to a Men’s league. Garrett loved the game of golf, enjoyed spending time at the reservoir fishing, roller blading, and football. Garrett was a friend to all and was always there to lend a helping hand. Garrett had an infectious smile and always had a way of finding humor in everything. He loved his family and closest friends with a devoted passion.
He is survived by his Mother Cynthia (Granlund) Happy of Sebastian, FL with whom he lived; his brother Derek Happy, and his wife Stacey (O’Brien) Happy of West Boylston, and their three daughters Chloe, Charlotte, and Chelsea; his sister Danielle (Happy) DiReda, and her husband Michael DiReda of Shrewsbury, and their daughter Mia Rose; his brothers Marc, Paul & CJ Happy of Sterling; his Step-Mother Caryn (Crue) Happy of Sterling; Grandparents Paul & Barbara (Brandt) Happy of Sterling; many aunts uncles, cousins, and friends. Garrett is predeceased by his father Robert Happy of Rutland, MA, and his Grandparents Kenneth and Janice Granlund of Wellfleet, MA.
There will be visitation hours held on Thursday,December 22nd from 4-7pm at Fay Brothers Life Celebration Home located at 1 W Boylston St, West Boylston, MA 01583.
