Gary R. Lambert

AUBURN- Gary Lambert, 58, a resident of Auburn, passed away on December 16, 2023, at UMASS Hospital in Worcester.

He leaves his beloved wife, Noreen (Patton) Lambert, his three devoted children, Erin, Kristen and Delia Lambert, all of Auburn, his father George Bernard Lambert and his wife Carol of Daytona, FL, a sister Sonja Lambert -Green and her husband Richard of Orange City, FL, several nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends. He was predeceased by his mother Giovanna Pina (Labbra) Lambert.

Gary was born on July 4, 1965, in Cambridge MA. He was employed by Riverdale Mills in Northbridge, MA for many years and enjoyed the friendship of his workplace family.

He spent countless hours teaching, coaching, and inspiring his children as they grew into accomplished soccer players. He and his daughters loved the sport and would spend time together watching Olympic Soccer and The World Cup. Gary was also very active in the Auburn community, assisting, coaching, and mentoring soccer players, and he touched many lives along the way.

In his free time, Gary enjoyed fishing, and was an accomplished artist, a talent that was passed down to him by his father George. Gary painted the murals that adorn his daughter’s bedroom walls. Above all he adored being with his children and being a very active participant in their lives.

Gary will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Family and friends will celebrate Gary’s life with a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday December 23, 2023, at the Callahan, Fay and Caswell Life Celebration, 61 Myrtle St. Worcester, MA. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
