Genise Delaine Sanders

WEST BOYLSTON-Genise D. (Jones) Sanders, 64, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday evening, February 8, 2019 surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born and raised in Gainesville, GA, daughter of Harold B. Jones and Zenoba I. (Justis) Jones. Genise moved to Worcester, Massachusetts where she lived for several years prior to moving to West Boylston where she has resided for five years. She was a licensed real estate agent and worked for Real Estate Marketplace in Hudson and later worked at Intel Corporation in Hudson.

Genise loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in her yard tending to her gardens. She loved animals and was a crazy New England Patriots fan and also enjoyed going to the casino where she loved to play Bingo and the slot machines. Genise was also lovingly known as "Momma" because she was a kind and generous woman who would open her heart and home to anyone who needed it.

She will be dearly missed by her sons, Tony D. Sanders with whom she lived and Jonathan D. Barnes of Gainesville, GA; five brothers, Damon, Terry, Darell, Ray and Jeffrey and many nephews and nieces. She also leaves a large extended family of many close friends. Genise was predeceased by two brothers, Stanley and Wayne.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date at her home. That date and time will be posted when available.
