George W. Goodrich

WORCESTER-George W. Goodrich, 79, of Worcester, died Sunday, December 5 at Radius Specialty Hospital in Boston. He leaves two children, George L. Goodrich of Worcester and Dawn Goodrich, wife of Paul Tassinari of Braintree; a brother, Walter Goodrich and his wife Ann of Mount Dora, FL; two grandsons, John Paul and Hadley Tassinari, many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three brothers, David, John and Herbert Goodrich and four sisters, Jessie Doucette, Nora Barton, Terrie Spafford and Hannah Castonguay.
He was born in Worcester, the son of William A. and Jessie P. (Oliver) Goodrich and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. George was a driver at Atlas Distributors for many years before retiring and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 170.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 9th at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
