George A. "GiGi" Pellegrini 72 of 1048 North Brookfield Rd. died Friday (May3) at home after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 45 years, June M. (Smith) Pellegrini, four daughters, Patricia Bidgood of WestBoylston, Lisa Taylor of Oakham, Cheryl Pellegrini of Natick, and JoAnn Tobey of San Jose, CA. three sisters, Gloria Miller of Anderson, IN, Christine Powers of Virginia Beach, VA and Rita Harvey of Hampton, NH, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Everett son of Massimo and Alice (Navaroli) Pellegrini. He graduated from Everett High School. He has lived in Oakham for several years prior to that he lived in West Boylston for over 20 years and many years in Everett.

He was a Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He owned and operated GiGi's Restaurant in Shrewsbury for several years before retiring.

A Funeral will be held Tuesday (May7) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 1 West Boylston St. W. Boylston with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Christopher Church 950 West Boylston St. Worcester . Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling Hours are Monday (May6) from 4 to 7p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association 40 Speen St. Framingham 01701
