WORCESTER-Gilda Boix, 89, passed away Wednesday, October 7 at St. Vincent Hospital. She leaves her husband of 49 years, Adolfo Boix; two daughters, Maggie Moulton of Atlanta, GA and Gilda Migares of Miami, FL; three grandchildren, Christina, Julie and Catherine and a sister in Costa Rica.
Mrs. Boix was born in Costa Rica and came to America in 1965. She was a teacher of Math and Accounting at The Worcester OIC for many years. She was a member of The Cathedral of St. Paul and was an avid reader.
A visiting hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 AM on Friday, October 9 at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM at The Cathedral of St. Paul, 15 Chatham St. Burial will in Hope Cemetery. For directions and online condolences please visit www.callahanfay.com.
