WORCESTER- Gladys (Benneyan) Krikorian, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, ME.
She was the wife of the late B. Paul Krikorian of Worcester.
Mrs. Krikorian was born in Worcester on February 4, 1932, a daughter of Armenian immigrants, Garabed and Ovsanna (Sarkissian) Benneyan. She spent most of her life living in Worcester until moving to Maine two years ago after the death of her husband.
Mrs. Krikorian was a longtime and devoted member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour. Her family was paramount in her life and she felt blessed to have married the love of her life, raised three children who truly loved her and watched with pride as her grandchildren grew.
Her memory will live on in her three children, Kathie Winchenbach and her husband Jeffrey, Paul Krikorian and his wife Jane, Robert Krikorian and his wife Paola Martino; five grandchildren: Amie, Alex, Emma, Keith and Sofia, as well as much loved family members and friends.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Veronica Garabedian, Helen Barker and Virginia Hovenesian.
Family and friends will gather to honor, remember and celebrate her life on Friday, December 7th from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with burial at Hope Cemetery in Worcester. The Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
