AUBURN-Gloria E. Clark, 88, of Arlington Street, Auburn died Monday, November 17, 2014 at home with her loving nephew by her side.


Gloria is survived by her brother Paul A. Clark and his wife Patricia of Hubbardston, and their children, Paul and Karen; two sisters, Denyse A. Curran of Worcester and Elaine M. Seymour and her husband Neil of Pawtucket, RI; her brother-in-law Jack Lynch of Auburn; many nephews and nieces, especially her late sister Shirley's children, to whom she was a second mother throughout their lives: Anne M. Clark and her husband Thomas of Auburn, Deborah J. Campbell and her husband Ralph of Oxford, Michael J. Lynch of Auburn, John F. Lynch, Jr. and his wife Terese of Auburn, James P. Lynch and his wife Arlette of Worcester, Robert S. Lynch of Auburn, who lovingly cared for her for many years, and Kathleen E. St. Denis and her husband Norm of Sturbridge. Gloria was predeceased by her sister Shirley A. Lynch, and her four brothers, Ralph H., Raymond E., Clarence E. and Ronald F. Clark.


She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Ralph L. and Blanche B. (Malboeuf) Clark and graduated from St. Peter's High School in 1944. Gloria had lived her whole life in Worcester before moving to Auburn in 2000 and had been a lifelong member of St. Peter's Church, and a member of its Women's Guild. She was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an Administrative Assistant for the Massachusetts Highway Department for 46 years, retiring in 2008. Gloria's family would like to thank Judy Rozanski for the care and companionship which she has provided to Gloria throughout the past year.


Gloria's funeral will be held on Friday, November 21 from CALLAHAN~FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Auburn. Visiting hours are Thursday, November 20 from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
