Gloria (Isakson) Caprioli, 85 of Worcester, passed away peacefully with her daughters and granddaughter by her side.

Gloria was the daughter of the late Toivo and Mary (Tikkala) Isakson. She is survived by her daughters Gina Jenkins and Gloria Caprioli-Sullivan and her husband Joseph Sullivan Jr; three grandchildren Dalton Jenkins, Cole Jenkins and wife Michelle, and Gianna Caprioli; two great grandchildren Amelia and Mason; a brother Harvard Isakson of South Yarmouth; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother John Isakson and son-in-law Richard Jenkins. 

Gloria graduated from Commerce High School. She was employed as a courier and enjoyed proudly sharing that she completed her deliveries during the Blizzard of 1978.  She was a graceful, independent, and kind woman who always made an effort to compliment others. Her love of style was evident by her meticulous appearance. She was proud of her Finnish heritage and fondly recalled times with family. She enjoyed traveling and quiz shows.

Gloria’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the UMass Memorial 4 East neurological staff, the palliative care team, and the VNA Hospice for the wonderful care provided and the compassion shown to Gloria and her family.

Family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of Gloria's life with a visiting hour on Monday, May 13th from 10:00am-11:00am at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00am followed by burial in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester.
