Worcester- Gloria A. (Rotolo) O'Rourke, passed away on her 76th Birthday at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center, surrounded by her family.
Her 1st husband, Walter G. Stewart passed away in 1986. Her 2nd husband of 8 years, Gerald A. O'Rourke passed in 1997. She leaves three children Walter G. Stewart of Worcester, David L. Stewart of Worcester and Robin L. and her husband, Jeffrey M. Jansson of Charlton; four grandchildren, Ashley, Jeffrey, Jarrod and Lyndsay; the apple of her eye, her great-grand-daughter, Teagen and many cousins. Her brother, Frank Rotolo predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Leo and Edna (Shea) Rotolo and graduated from Commerce High School.
Gloria was a sterile processing technician at UMass Memorial Hospital for 30 years, before retiring. Gloria loved spending time with her family, especially travelling with them. She enjoyed her trips to the casino and playing bingo.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 10 at 10:30am in Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Wednesday, May 9 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box, 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
