Gregory Bosunga Sileki, 69, passed away on Thursday February 18, 2021.
Born to Albert Sileki Wa Toleka and Elisa Charlotte Bangombe on August 18, 1951 in Yangambi, DRC. He grew up alongside many brothers and sisters in Kisangani where he completed his primary and secondary education before moving to Kinshasa for university. While attending the Polytechnique Faculty of National University of Kinshasa he met his beloved wife Beatrice and they married July 21, 1976.
He immigrated to America with his wife in 1991. A lover of nature and knowledge, he continued his education with several masters degrees at the Colorado School of Mines and Ecole du Pétrole et des Moteur in France. On a beautiful day he could always be found outside studying his Bible. He also loved people and enjoyed discussions regardless of age as he believed everyone had a story to tell. His presence would light up a room with his booming laughter as the soundtrack.
A loving minister, husband, father, grandfather, friend. Greg is survived by his wife Beatrice, his 8 children, 13 grandchildren with 2 more expected later this year.
Viewing for Greg will be Friday, March 5, 2021 from 5-8 PM at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday March 6, 2021 at 9 AM at Liberty Church Assembly of God, 495 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
Burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery and Mausoleum 260 Cambridge St. Worcester, MA 01603.
