Guadalupe Lopez

WORCESTER-Guadalupe Lopez, 90, a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Enrique Lopez and Evarista Ramos. Guadalupe was a member of the Pentecostal church and her faith was very important to her. She was a family woman who loved spending time with her family and she also enjoyed sewing and crochet.
Guadalupe was predeceased by her beloved husband Jose A. Velez in 1972. She will be dearly missed by her children, Iris B. Velez and her husband Miguel Rivera of Worcester, Luz N. Velez and her husband William Colon of Puerto Rico, Jose E. Velez and his wife Adelaida of Puerto Rico, Juan P. Velez and his wife Hermenia of Puerto Rico and Belfort Velez and his wife Maritiza of Puerto Rico. She also leaves her brother Juan Pablo Lopez in Puerto Rico, 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours to celebrate Guadalupe's life will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 3rd at Callahan, Fay and Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 4th in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
