WORCESTER-Harold E. Carter, Sr., 85, of Worcester died Thursday, Aug. 10.
He leaves his wife of 60 years, Helen (Ricci) Carter; a daughter, Jean E. Klaucke of W. Dennis and a son, Harold E. Carter, Jr. of Little Elm, TX; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was born in Mills River, NC the son of Eugene and Gertrude (Stepp) Carter. He was a WW II Army veteran serving with the 21st Division during the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was formerly a manager at PF O'Hara's Liquor Store.
The funeral will be Monday, Aug. 14 at 11:30 AM in FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St., W. Boylston. A visiting hour will be from 10:30 to 11:30 AM the morning of the funeral. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, W. Boylston.
