WORCESTER
Hazel M. (Delaney) Sharry, 91, formerly of 11 Lake Ave. died Thursday, Sept 28., in St. Mary's Healthcare Center with her loving family by her side.
Her first husband Harry W. Smith died in WWII. Her second husband Nicholas B. "Chick" Sharry died in 1974. She leaves her daughter, Suzanne C. and her husband Robert L. Boucher of Worcester; four grandchildren, Robert L. Boucher, Jr., Daniel O. Boucher, Maryann Boucher and Maria C. Morgan; a great-grand-daughter, Helen C. Boucher and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Catharine Delaney and Mabel A. Carroll and two brothers, E. Francis and John W. Delaney predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John J. and Theresa C. (Higgins) Delaney and graduated from Commerce High School. Hazel worked for White Cleaners for many years. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary's Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 2 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10AM in St. Margaret Mary's Church, 75 Alvarado Ave. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Sunday, Oct. 1 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
