Helen Carter

WEST BOYLSTON-Helen (Ricci) Carter, 91, of The Elms at Briarwood passed away at home surrounded by her family.

Her husband of 60 years, passed away in 2006. She is survived by her two children, Harold E. Carter, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and Jean E Klaucke of West Dennis; two brothers, John P. Richie of West Boylston and Richard C. Richie of Northboro; her sister, Edith A. Lawrence of West Boylston; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her brother, Mercurio Ricci and her sister, Mary Challenor predeceased her.

She was born in West Boylston the daughter of Pietro and Albertina (Ghetti) Ricci. Helen worked as a machine operator at Norton Company for many years before retiring.

A visiting hour will be held on Monday, September 22 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
