WEST BOYLSTON-Helen M. (Carpenter) Dupuis, 90, passed away Wednesday, July 16 in the Blaire House.
She leaves three daughters, Karen Carling of Holden, Kim Prendiville and her husband, Thomas of Holden and Kris Castagnetti and her husband David, of West Boylston with whom Helen lived with for many years, six grandchildren, Melissa Carling of Holden, Thomas Prendiville, IV and his wife, Meghan of Marlboro, Zachary Prendiville of Holden, Benjamin Kipp and his husband, Bryce of Los Angeles, CA, Adam Castagnetti and Jonathan Castagnetti both of West Boylston; two great-grandchildren, Braiden and Brooks and nieces and nephews. 10 siblings predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph and Irene B. (Blais) Carpenter.
Helen worked as a housekeeper at UMASS Memorial Hospital and as a supervisor at Comeplay Products. She loved family vacations, especially traveling to Florida to spend time with her nieces, Linda and Sherry. She also enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities from music recitals, plays at Hanover Theatre and multiple sporting events, especially hockey.
The family would like to thank the Blaire House for their wonderful care and compassion during Helen’s time there.
Visiting Hours are Sunday, July 20 from 2 to 4pm in Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 21, at 11am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help fight breast cancer may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation at www.komen.org
