Helen V. Reidy 86, of 46 Paton Rd. formerly of Worcester died Wednesday, Sept.10 at The Meadows of Leicester.
She leaves three nephews, James E. Reidy Jr. of Somers, CT, Robert T. Reidy of Worcester, and Stephen M. Reidy of Shrewsbury. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Thomas D. and Margaret E. (Redding) Reidy. She graduated from St. Peter's High School and attended Worcester State College.
She was the Assistant Worcester City Clerk, for many years, before retiring.She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church and its Woman's Club.
The Funeral will be held Friday, Sept.12 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME 9 Hammond St. with a Mass at Noon in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. A Calling Hour will be held Friday, Sept.12 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew the Apostle Church 5 Spaulding St. Worcester 01603.
